To this end, the party wishing to initiate the conciliation procedure must send a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt to the other party, setting out the nature of the dispute. The recipient party will then have a period of 15 days from receipt of this letter to respond and accept or refuse the conciliation proposal.
If the parties do not reach an agreement within 15 days from the recipient party’s response, each of them may refer the matter to the competent courts to resolve the dispute.
This prior conciliation clause does not prevent the parties from taking, in case of emergency, any necessary conservatory measures before the start of the conciliation procedure.
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the competent court will be that of Paris, France.
These conditions are written to ensure transparency and a balance between the rights and obligations of the buyer and the Organizer, while providing adequate protection for both parties.

In accordance with the VAT margin scheme for travel agents, invoices issued by PLAYGROUND only mention, upon request, the VAT on the margin.
4.2 Price Revision: The prices indicated are those in effect on the date of the order:
Prices have been set based on the following economic data: transport costs, particularly related to fuel costs, transport fees and taxes (landing, boarding, disembarkation, security tax, eco-tax…), exchange rates applied to currencies according to the trip or stay concerned.
Attention: In accordance with Articles L.211-12, R211-8, and R.211-9 of the French Tourism Code, in the event of variations in this data, and in particular in the amount of taxes, passenger fees, and/or fuel surcharges applied by authorities and/or airlines, these will be fully and immediately reflected in the price of all products from its date of application, including for customers already9 registered and having already paid for the corresponding service.
Fluctuations in exchange rates may also lead to a revision of the price of services. The currencies likely to influence prices include the US dollar and the currencies of the countries in which accommodation services are offered.
4.3 Service Fees:
Any order may result in the collection by PLAYGROUND of service fees, which vary depending on the type of services requested and are expressed per person or per file, in addition to the price of the services ordered. These fees will be detailed in the commercial proposal, if applicable.

5.3 Default of Payment / Cancellation:
In the event of non-payment in accordance with the agreed deadlines, PLAYGROUND is entitled to cancel the order placed by the user. Before receiving full payment, PLAYGROUND is not obliged to issue any transport ticket, ticket, or voucher.
Failure by the user to comply with the payment terms may be considered by PLAYGROUND as a cancellation requested by the user.
In the event that the payment proves to be irregular, incomplete, or non-existent, for any reason whatsoever, the sale of the reserved services will be canceled,10 with the resulting costs being borne by the user.
Late payment penalties equal to the interest rate applied by the European Central Bank plus 10 percentage points are automatically applicable to the unpaid amount beyond the scheduled payment date.
6. Administrative and Health Information
6.1 Formalities:
For non-French nationals, it is the user’s responsibility to check with the relevant authorities (Consulate, Embassy, etc.), taking into account their nationality, the various police, customs, and health formalities for their trip, including11 stopovers and transits, and to comply with them.12
We invite you to consult the website www.diplomatie.gouv.fr.
If the user and/or the persons registered by them are refused boarding or access to the country of destination due to failure to comply with police, health, or customs formalities, PLAYGROUND can in no way be held responsible or reimburse the tickets or any expenses whatsoever. The user alone will bear all sanctions and/or fines possibly imposed and resulting from non-observance of police, health, or customs regulations, as well as the consequences that may result therefrom.
Some countries require, in addition to a possible visa, that the passport validity extends for more than 6 months after the return date, and that the traveler has a return or onward ticket and sufficient funds.
According to French law, for all destinations requiring a passport, a minor, regardless of age, must now possess their own passport. However, minors already registered on the valid passport of their legal representative and provided they are under13 fifteen years of age do not need to have their own passport, except to travel to or transit through the United States.
A child registered on an adult’s passport can only travel accompanied by the adult holder of the passport on which they appear. The family record book is not a valid identity document, including for domestic flights.
Since January 1, 2013, individual and collective exit authorizations for French minors traveling abroad without their parents or legal representative have been abolished by French regulations. However, a certain number of destination countries still impose specific entry requirements on their territory, particularly for minors.
We therefore invite the User to check in advance the documents requested on the website www.diplomatie.gouv.fr (section “Travel Advice”) or with the relevant authorities (embassy, consulate, etc.).
However, given the difficulties due to the fact that French authorities no longer issue exit authorizations in principle due to the new applicable regulations, but that some destination countries still request or require a similar document, we recommend in any case that the child be provided, in addition to their French identity document (national identity card/passport depending on the destination + the possible visa depending on the destination country), with the family record book and/or an exit authorization established on plain paper by the parent(s) or the person exercising parental authority.
It is imperative (spouse, child) that the name appearing on the passport or identity document is identical to the name under which the order was placed and the transport and accommodation documents issued. The completion of formalities remains, in all cases, the responsibility of the user. The costs of issuing passports, visas, and other travel documents (tickets14 or ticket repurchase) cannot, under any circumstances, be reimbursed.
Some companies agree to transport domestic animals; in this case, you must be in possession of their up-to-date vaccination record.
6.2 Health Risks:
It is the user’s responsibility to check with the relevant authorities the health risks that may be present in their destination country(ies) and the countries of stopovers and transits, as well as the recommendations issued by the authorities on the matter, and to comply with the latest recommendations.
For any information regarding health risks, it is recommended to regularly consult the following websites:
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs: www.diplomatie.gouv.fr/fr/conseils-aux-voyageurs15 and more particularly the sub-sections “country risk” and “health”
- Ministry of Health: www.sante-sports.gouv.fr
- Institute for Public Health Surveillance: www.invs.sante.fr
- World Health Organization (WHO): www.who.int If you are traveling within the European Union, it is recommended that you obtain the European Health Insurance Card (free of charge), which, in the 27 EU member states, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland, will allow you to benefit from the same access to public healthcare (for example, a doctor, a pharmacy, a hospital) as nationals of the country you are visiting. If these healthcare services are subject to payment, you will be reimbursed after your return to your country of origin based on French rates by the health insurance institutions.
7. Accommodation Services and Official Hotel/Club Shuttles
Prices are calculated based on the number of nights and not days. A night is defined as the period during which rooms are made available.
If, in the event of late arrival or early departure, the first and/or last night is shortened, no refund or compensation can be granted.
7.1 Room:
Single rooms generally include one bed for one person and are smaller. Double rooms are provided either with two beds or, more rarely, with a double bed.
7.2 Classification:
The indication of the comfort level assigned to the hotels appearing in the description and their classification corresponds to local regulations and/or the customs of the host country, and may therefore differ from French standards.
7.3 Accommodation Offer
Night per establishment with:
twin room option
single room option
double room option
8. Liability
PLAYGROUND holds the legal and administrative authorizations issued by the competent French authorities, guaranteeing customers the proper execution of the services purchased. PLAYGROUND and the suppliers are responsible for the proper execution of the services provided and are required to provide assistance to travelers in difficulty.
In the event that their strict liability is invoked due to the service providers, the compensation limits resulting from international conventions according to Article L. 211-17-IV of the French Tourism Code will apply; failing that and except in the case of bodily injury, intentional damage, or damage caused by negligence, any damages are limited to three16 times the total price of the trip or stay.
In the case of tourist packages, liability cannot be incurred in the event of contractual non-performance by the customer, in the event of unforeseeable or unavoidable acts of a third party unrelated to the provision of17 travel services, or in the event of exceptional and unavoidable circumstances.
As indicated above (Article 7.1), PLAYGROUND cannot be held responsible for the deletion or modification of part of the program caused by external events such as unannounced strikes, technical incidents, bad weather,
